Headlamp busted
Headlamp busted
So I got hit at low velocity. The damage didn't seem too bad, but I guess it broke the mounting for the passenger headlamp and turn signal. I figure the turn signal is probably laying somewhere off the 429A exit ramp off I-35. Anyway, I need to replace the entire grouping in order to pass inspection. I was hoping someone here could help me get the parts list and the procedure for replacement. Pictures and observations below. Thanks in advance.

This is the exterior view of the damage. If you apply pressure to either side of the lamp, it will rotate a few degrees on the z axis. There also appears to be damage to the out board side of the mounting, which is probably why turn signal fell off.

This is an interior view of the assembly. The bottom of the picture is where the turn signal should be and the right of the picture is forward of the truck.
The bracket at the top of the picture appears to the the device that mounts the lamp to the housing. If you apply pressure to the side of the lamp, the bottom side of the bracket moves. That probably accounts for the z axis rotation. The inspector I spoke with last weekend said that because the headlamp is not solidly fixed to the mounting, that would fail the inspection too.
