Headlight harness

I got my truck back from the bodyshop the other day and the headlights were allmessed up upon closer inspection I found the reasons the drivers side just needs to be lowered however the passenger side was spliced in so I think it is loosing power thee seeing how the connection looks poorly done now my question is, is the headlight wiring harness seperate from the main harness and if so can I just buy a new one and plug it in. Or would I have to splice the new harness as well.

No. It is part of the engine bay harness which is large and very expensive. Can you take it back and have them repair it correctly?

Compared to a good service department, body shops are generally not very good at mechanical and electrical repair/reassembly. In particular, be sure to check that all of the ground wires are bolted down. Under the hood, there are grounds on the right and left inner fender aprons near the washer reservoir and the electrical distribution box, on the radiator support near the battery and near the center of the firewall. This simple step could save you a lot of headaches in the future.

lmc truck sells a nice heavy duty harness. it is a plug and play replacement, but not 100% oem. it is a great add on if you have any extra lights ran off your headlight switch. i replaced mine earlier this year and haven't had any problems with it.
