Ok im new with this headlight stuff. i have a 99 ford ranger xlt.


you can tell right away, they dont match. im lookin for matching new ones that will go with the side lights. i noticed tonight that one light is dim and i need to replace it all anyways. so im not even sure what to look for on ebay or other sites.

also, are smoke headlight covers illegal?my stepdad says they are but whey would they sell them at autozone? also im not sure they would look good on this truck at this color, will paint it black eventually. i may get the headlight covers now anyways, trying to make it stand out. it looks like every other ranger out there. so what are the best brightest not pissing people off headlight bulbs also?haha

 

No covers. Eww mostly they are illegal and autozone is there to make money not to make sure everything is legal. Look on ebay for new ones

woah very nice for all. but im kind of just lookin for the center headlight for now. though you are giving me some ideas....just now i dont want to invest that much money into lights just yet. ive had the truck for less than a month, so im waiting for a couple months before i go in deep prices, just in case i run into big engine problems, ya know used and all...and yeah. appreciate the links though, very nice.

 

Well anything you throw into those lights housings are gonna suck since they are fubar'ed, hell i dont think you can buff those clear. Just save up get some new clear housings and corners to match. As for bulbs get Silverstar Ultra's or go the HID route.
