I've been reading a lot of old posts regarding noises which are deemed 'common exhaust buzzing' caused by loosened heat shields.
Nothing new there.
What I was hoping to find was info/experiences on replacements, either purchased or homemade.
I fully grasp how cheap these things are and I've quieted my share over the years.
This morning, after replacing my sway bar links, I surrounded my rattly cat heat shield with a large Ideal clamp and a wad of heat resistant cloth.
Worked fine, looks amateurish.

I suppose everyone just tears the rattly ones off and is done with it.
So, is it tinsnips and aluminum or Amazon?
What do they do in California?
