So question for you guys. I'm looking at trying to get some heated seats and I'm curious if anyone has any experience with these things.

I did some google searching and this kit here looks pretty damn nice (can make it look completely stock and don't have use the cigarette lighter to power it).

Curious if anyone has done anything like this for a vehicle? Anyone know of any cheaper kits that will still look somewhat stock? I found heated seat covers that ran off the cigarette lighter, but I would prefer to go with something that could be pretty much completely hidden.

NOTE: This is not for a Ranger based vehicle, so explorer seats won't work (without making custom brackets and that is something I don't want to tackle).

 

Bob (Rwenzing) did heated seats for his ranger like a year or two ago... his thread covered most of the install and his thoughts on it (from what i can remember)

lol, no problem. i only remembered it so easily because i just looked for the thread a few weeks ago when i had heated seats in mind for my own truck, lol.

that link he has is a link to the ebay seller... seems like you can get the same kiit your looking at for a few bucks cheaper thru ebay as well..

Heated seats - highly recommended!
