Heating and cooling system problems.

I have a 97 Ranger single cab with the 2.3l rear wheel drive. The blower doesn't blow on level one and the heater will somewhat work after driving for a while if it's not freezing outside. The A/C will work sometimes, but very rarely. I've checked the freon and it's fine as far as I can tell.

There is a Blower resister that goes bad. Its in the engine bay on the pass side near the AC box. The engine needs to warm up before you will feel heat, will take longer on very cold days.
