Icon4 help removing/replacing actuator on 99-04?

Hey everyone. I've been researching this for hours today and even had my doors apart all day long trying to figure this out. Does anyone here know how to replace a 1999-2004 passenger side door lock actuator for the power locks?

I have bought a replacement part but for the life of me I cant seem to figure out how to get the old one thats shot(looks highly corroded/water seal broke) out. Somehow its attached to the gold latch mechanism in the door. I can move the whole thing around a little by removing the window track closest to it and unbolting the torx bits outside the door that hold the latch in. But I cant figure out how to separate the actuator from the latch.

I'm not having any luck at all. I even checked out the haynes manuals and none of them mention anything about power locks :(

I'm becoming desperate :P

The P/D lock actuator should be connected to the door latch via a metal rod. Unbolt the window rear run channel (one bolt) moving it to the rear out of the way. Disconnect the electrical plug and unbolt the actuator. Once the actuator is lose, you can turn as needed to remove the rod either at the actuator or from the latch side and pull it out.
