i would be curious to know what was done to the engines while they were out of the car... were they all the OM 616 from the W115 or did he use something newer... either way i have a LOOOONG time to go before my 240D has that many miles... im at 123k now

During this time the owner was able to call upon the original engine and two spare units, deploying them on a rotational basis 11 times in total.
cheater. still impressive on those 3 engines
