hmm does anyone's truck do this also?

sumtimes when im out side at nite..my dome light will just pop onout of no where..no one is messin with my keys or anything....i wont even be close enough to open a door...it just comes on..anyone posibly kno why?

It probably does it during the day too.
So, I'm guessing the door ajar switch.
Do a search on the door ajar switch.

a ghost maybe? try spraying your door latches really well w/ WD40 or something similar, mine was doing the same thing and that helped

My friend told me that there's like a 1 in 5 chance that someone's keyfob will work on yours also. Whether or not that's complete BS, I don't know, but perhaps someone who lives on your street has the same keyfob code as you?

WD40 gets rid of ghosts!? Sweet!

completely true.. my 01 Ranger's key worked in my buddys Ranger.

I told you Brad you got gremlins :P But yea at the dealers the sales staff each have a "master" fob that can unlock any vehicle on the lot, so maybe someone near you has a fob on the same frequency

mine did something similar (light stayed on) and WD-40 in the latches fixed it
