Hooking up about 4 noens

Was thinking about hooking up about 4 neons in my cab for a little glow at night.. I wanted to hook it up so when I open my doors the noens come on and not the overhead light.. I think that would be tight looking. If I couldn't do that easly I would do just a switch, but how would I got along with hooking them up in sync with not using an ugly cig lighter adapter..

Gonna use LEDS? You can find some info here...

Now I'm not certain, someone else can chime in...but maybe you could connect the wires to the yellow/black wire in your GEM.

you should be able to use a splice into that wire and just turn off the switch on the domelight....

or do like my freind did and get some leds to go inside his dome light, that was pretty neat...

Went and got my other 15" Blue neon today and, a switch, I still need to rewire the switch for my amp to the dash instead of a rats nest behind my seat. ha but anyway, I know I need to get a in-line fuse for the switch, I have some 18 gauge wire, would that be the right gauge for hooking it up?

I had my buddy buy cold cathodes from www.xoxide.com

The product was not what iexpected but it did finely. splice into the wires heading to the dome light and then the neons should be controlled by domelifght.

Yes i did. Read my second sentence. I'm at work so i cannot type an essay but its easy, you just cut into the 2 wires running to the actual domelight.
