It has two coaxel plugs in the back, one for the Ant. and one for the radio.

Now.. I plugged it in both ways, turned the radio on, and nothing happend...


Any ideas?

if the pointer moves when ya key up it works. maybe its a seting? don't be mad.....try reading the instructions?

maybe give them a call and see if they have any sugestions.

Ok, what I need to know is what 10W FWD and 100W REF means.

I don't have a calibration point, just the ****.

Power and SWER switches, and switches from 10W FWD and 100W REF

 

best advice i can give is to call the place. every meter is different as to where it needs to be adjusted with the ****.

it has to be adjusted to its full scale reading, to have a proper swr reading.

 

I called them up, they gave me some info, I have a feeling he gave it to me backwards, cause they way he had me do it ended up making the needle snap to the right when trying to read the SWR.

I think I'm set now..

CBCity.com was real nice explaining it to me, and the words I said about them, mostly were in frustration at myself for not knowin what to do, lol.

Hook it up the way you had it before. Radio to the radio jack and antenna to the antenna jack. Set the switch 100REF and SWR. Key the mic and adjust the **** until the needle points at the calibration mark. Now switch it to 10FWD and key the mic. The needle will point to your SWR.
