Sway bar on the front of my 2wd ranger, 1993. If you were to replace the bushings on this sway bar you would need to unbolt the bushing bracket off the frame (im totally guessing at this just by looking at it). However i live in illinois and the cancer has gotten really bad under here, the actual bracket itself has rusted in half. I can find the sway bar bushings on rockauto, but no brackets. What should i do? Is this even a big deal? The sway bar isnt really a critical suspension component like a ball joint or wheel bearing that can actually make you crash when they fail...

Body roll can throw you off-course.

MAN! A bracket holding a bar against a surface (frame)......they gotta be somewhat universal.

Measure the diameter of the bar stock and look around.

look around where? I figured this was an OEM part. Also, I thought about hitting up the scrapyards but I'm sure with my luck it's gonna be the same story under every truck: CANCER

Try Jegs, 1A auto, USA-parts.com (nationwide junk yard),
Maybe fabricating your own?

yes. Part 3 in that diagram. I'm assuming this is a "simple" 2 bolts and swap the new one on with a new bushing? Honestly its so rusty down there I dont know if the bolts will come out lol
