Ok so randomly my truck wont start, like it didnt even try to turn over. First of all i got a 99 ranger, 3.0l v6. I narrowed the problem down but dont really know what to do, it is somehow caused by heat cause it works once the temperature drops throughout the day, and when i have the truck turn on, the theft light flashes repeatedly and it wont turn over. If i try to jump start it it wont turn over either. So it has something to do with my anti theft system which i dont have one, its factory, like there is no alarm, and i combination with the heat. Please someone help

 

My 97 had some issues where it would randomly not want to start. Turns out it was a loose wire on the starter... grabbed it and wiggled it and she'd start right up. It was the smaller of the two red wires going to the starter.
