I feel pretty dumb asking this question......I have a had many rangers over ther years but I am at the end of my rope.......On every other ranger I have ever had...you push the light dimmer switch all the way up and the inside light comes on......I currently have a 2006 Ranger sport.....and I have tried pushing the dimmer switch all the way up and the light will not come on.......BTW the light does work...it comes on when the doors are open.........Thanks for the help......please help??????????????

 

Your dome light could be one with separate bulbs for opening the door and for manually turning on. I would unscrew the light and look to see how many bulbs you have.
