Removing systems?

Is there any way I can remove most / all of the electrical systems on a 94 mazda B3000? Maybe something like pull out the computer and replace the fuel pump with a more simple one? My B3000 to rat rod project is in full swing... I've got all the front sheet metal off, all the metal surrounding the engine bay cut off and I'm preparing to pull the cab. I really, really want to use the 3.0 sitting on the frame now, because it hasn't been done before and I love the way it sounds with open headers. Oh, and I'm NOT planning on this vehicle being street legal at all, so I don't need to worry about emissions equipment either, any way to remove that junk too?

If it's easier or cheaper, I'm not opposed to using a carbed 302 or a SBC

I thought about that... I was toying around with the idea of modifying the air intake before the throttle body and mounting a weber carb, but I THINK the heads on the 3.0 will only work with f/i

Wait wait wait what if I kept the stock heads and welded up any holes for F/I, and then removed the throttle body from the intake, and in it's place rigged up a mount for a set of 2 or 3 weber carbs? Wouldn't that work? the fuel/air mixture would follow the path that the air normally does, and end up in the same spot. Hmmmmm....

The holes for your fuel injectors are in your intake manifold not your cylinder heads.
