License plate light ideas

i have had the back license plate bulb burnt out for prob 2 years now lol. im sitting in school for next 4 hours and started looking for things i could fix it with. the socket is completly corroded and gone. i need to replace that. the other side is fairly good condition still. anyone have any ideas of what i can do with this.

i looked on fordparts and they only offer the whole harness which is somewhere around 250 bucks. i could always do the junk yard and just cut the connector off another ranger but that wouldnt be as much fun as doing something different and unique.

did find some bolt on lights-think there for motorcylces but i dont see why not...

If you just want to repair what's on there you can get replacement pigtails from your local parts store.

File off the letters and put a light behind the plate. Backlit license plate!

This is what I have on my rear licence plate because of the tube bumper. Works pretty slick.
