lights always on?

My interior lights are always on, and it does not say door ajar, so it is not the door sensor. also, the 2 white lights on both sides of the third brake light are always on. they go off when i pull fuse #26 in the fuse panel inside the cabin. This fuse also cuts power to the speedo and cluster, so i can not keep it pulled. any ideas on what is keeping the lights on?

the dial that controls the brightness of your dash lights. if you push it all the way up it clicks and that turns on ur interior lights and i believe your cargo lights. push it down.

Don't feel bad about it - a few years ago, in another vehicle I had, I thought the dashboard bulbs had all gone out since it didn't light up when the headlights were turned on; turns out the dimmer had accidentally been turned all the way down, thus no dash lights.

We've all had experiences that make us feel stupid after we figure them out.

Just part of life.

That is how I have killed 3 batteries thinking the lights were on because the door was open and they would shut off. I forgot I turned them on with the switch. I think I have learned my lesson.
