Icon7 looking for a loud cheap horn?

New to the site, was not entirely sure the etiquette with regards to posting threads but I would be super appreciative if someone could guide me in the right direction.

I am starting my mod list off on my 07 ranger sport with a new horn. If anyone could give any info and discuss what options people have experience with or know what I should do!! thanks for any help!

Not really possible. I mean you can just google 12V horns and replace the stock one. But if you want one that is loud you are going to have to go to an air horn setup.

Thanks for the reply! so if I wasnt going to go through the trouble of getting an air horn setup, do you know of anything that can take over my stock horn with the same standard fit?

Just google 12V horn. Any 12V horn will work. Then start looking through the db levels of the horn, and choose the highest db level you can find. I know PIAA has some aftermarket horns.

You're going to have to do some of your own research, but pretty much any horn will fit and will wire in directly if it is 12V

I like the "bad boy" sound I wish I had made a more informed decision, I thought why not challenge myself and purchased a relatively cheap Fiamm two-trumpet air horn unit. Now as for installation I cant seem to find a suitable how to. I really dont want to go to a mechanic Id rather learn. anyone ever installed one?

Use the search function and search "air horn" or "train horn". Lots of guys have done air horns from mild setups to extreme ones. I know HighRollerII has had different horn setups, maybe try to find them in one of his threads.

JC Whitney sells the Dorman Universal Horn fit for your Ranger. You can purchase it online and have it installed by your trusted car technician.
