LOW POWER
LOW POWER
Hello everyone! I'm new to this site and I'm in need of some help. I'm a journeyman level diesel tech and for the life of me can't figure out what's wrong with my Ford freakin ranger! I have a 1994 ranger 2.3L 5 speed manual trans. I have very little power, struggles going up hills, put my motorcycle in the bed and well, let's just hope I get to where I'm going. I have replaced just about everything under the hood. The truck idles well, drives fine, no misfire, passes California smog check, 0-60 in well a lot of seconds. I can do a burnout in first gear, but I need to have my foot to the floor to get on the highway and go up hills and this is with the bed empty. I have hooked up my OBD1 scanner and I have zero codes, no check engine lights. I have checked engine timing and all is well. Please help!
Parts I've replaced:
Ignition coils (both)
Plugs and wires all 8
Fuel pressure regulator
Fuel pump and filter
EGR valve
Cat & 02 sensor
MAF sensor
EGR control module
Coolant temp sensor
Throttle position sensor
Battery and alternator
Starter
