need a 12v wire to tap onto

I need a wire that will supply 12v when the truck is on to trip the relay so my efan comes on. So it doesn't need to be high amp or anything just close or in the fuse box.

From: Mexicali Baja California,
if it's gonna be on all the time, why not use a switch to turn it on? you don't need the fan on in the morning... my .02

It has a thermastat to turn it on when its hot, but I don't want to have it running when it's off but the engine is still hot. So I need a place that will supply 12v but only when the engine is running.

Couldn't you tap into the 12v in the radio bezel?

Thats what I was doing but I ran the wire through the steering column which was a bad idea. Now I want to attach it to something closer before I wire to the radio again.

I wouldn't run it through the steering column in fear of it getting kinked

Run it through the firewall that has all the other wires going through it.
