My drivers side window has a lot of play in it and wants to tilt forward slightly when it it rolled up. To get it to go up properly I have to hold it against the back of the window frame while it goes up. I've searched a little bit and people seem to say replace the regulator and motor assembly. My motor is definitely on its way out buy I don't see how that would cause play in the window. Haynes manual gives instructions for adjusting the glass but I can't find the 3 bolts they are talking about. The only 3 bolts behind the door panel seem to be those that hold the motor to the regulator.

Anyone experience something similar? I just don't want to buy new motors and regulators if there is a simple way to adjust the glass that I am missing.
