need schematics help
HELP!! lol. I am finishing up an old project of converting the MAF sensor from a 2003 style to the newer 2004+ style. I made an adapter pigtail but I can't get the wiring correct.
If anyone has schematics for 2003 and 2004 I could sure use some help. better yet (and probably asking for to much now) is what wire from an 04 would connect to which wire from an 03. As an example- connect 04 blue/yellow to 03 red.
I don't think it makes a difference if it's a 3.0 vs 4.0 on the schematics.

Is this just the MAF part or all 6 wires? I'm not sure what all of them do. At at least one wire is temperature sensor.
When I went the same color wires I was getting a fixed 125 degree temperature reading from my IAT reading on my scangauge. It was dark and cold though. I'll try again tomorrow when it is warmer.

2004 4.0
bk is ground
tan/light blue is pcm signal return
grey is your voltage reference to your pcm
red is power from the pcm relay in the battery junction box
grey/red goes all over the damn place
i would say its probably one of the temp wires
polarity doesnt matter on the two iat wires on the maf
light blue/red is should be the other side of the maf signal(tan/light blue is the gnd side in the pcm, lb/rd should be the power side in the pcm)
ok, i was right about the grey and grey/red
that is the act sensor
