Needing horn help(stock)

I just bought a 98 Ranger and the horn doesnt work. I found the horn, it has 2 wires coming from it that are cut off. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or pictures that show where these wires go to? I tried searching the forum but I couldnt find anything that applied.

Thanks!

do you have one horn or two? if two you should have a short wire that connects the two horns and the other one comes from the power distribution box and should plug into one terminal of either horn. neither horn needs a ground, because the bracket they attach to works as the ground. although in my case, the one side of the bracket wasnt a good ground so i had to make another ground.

I have 3 horns. The one I found was attached to the plastic air dam in the front with wires running to a relay with a blue wire plugged into the relay. After some troubleshooting, the relay seemed to be an add on, blue wire is the horn wire and I found the other 2 covered up by the splash shield behind the headlight. Double checked the relay, relay was good, and checked the blue wire to make sure it was the horn wire and not the foglight wires as the PO thought they might be, and plugged it in to the other 2. No horn but once I got a weak sound from one so I think I'll check the ground and make a new one also.

Seems like a lot of work just to be able to honk at people!
