My radio, stock 6-cd, has been showing "cd error" every once in a while here of late. Tried to eject a cd today and I think it's screwed. Cd door is stuck open and won't do anything cd wise.

Got any idea how I can get the cds out without wrecking this thing? I know if I take it apart it's done.

Any recommendations on new cd players? I had a double din question thread a while back but I might as well get some new suggestions for the new hotness!

 

I took my stock one apart to remove a stuck CD and put it back together with it still working. Just try to keep everything in place, it wasn't really super difficult if I remember right.

 

Yeah it's not hard, I've done it before a few times. Just be gentle with it. You'll figure it out once you take it out of the truck, it's only a few small bolts
