I purchased a 1993 Ford Ranger with the 2.3L 5 speed. It has 93,354 ordinal miles on it, It is very clean, No rust. I got it and it missed fired. I hooked it to a snap on computer and all I got was coil misfire. Check engine light comes on. Runs ruff. It will also start and then when I try to restart it it will not start. I changed the coil packs,wires, plugs, ignition switch, Timing belt,fuel pump relay, fuel pump,fuel filter. I have searched these forms and seams to be a common problem with no real solution? Is the computer bad? I can try the cam and crank sensor and icm but other s have done this and it has not worked.

 

Any suggestions? Anyone really understand these computers very well?
