Notice anything wrong?

I won't say what's wrong, or if there is anything wrong with the visual, sound etc. of my 4.0 V6 Mazda B4000 engine, or components.

Ok, here is what I think.

The fan is awfully wobly....

The idler pulley is quite shakey, it went through a squeal spell but it stopped.

There may be a slight whine, I had to grab the steering wheel to get in to the truck, I have a busted L ankle.

I can't tell if the rattling I hear is from the pulley or the engine.

Yep to the clutch or the water pump. Might as well change both as long as you got it all apart.
Sorry guy!!!

What technical skills are required?

How much is it going to cost?

You just need one big wrench to get the fan clutch off. I wouldn't worry about the tensioner pulley until after you replace the fan clutch.

No special tools needed to uninstall/install?

What's the best pricing you've seen?

Would it be easier/cheaper to go to an E-Fan?

might as well upgrade to E-fan. i went to a flex fan for the price since the clutch fan both old and new broke 2 water pumps but that was just my luck

It would actually be easier to replace the fan clutch then to change over to an E-fan (I've done both). If you do go the route of an E-fan, make sure to do your research, when you're working with your engine's ability to stay cool, you really want to make sure that you've got the right setup.

After research, I will not be doing an E-FAN, I would most likely have to upgrade my electrical system to obtain the preferred performance.

PS:

I'll be posting a new video, showing the only play I could find in the fan, as well as the 'pinging/rattling' noise.
