I have a 2000 ford ranger 3.0 v6 flex fuel and I started my truck this morning and saw a light on the dash that reads o/d off. It' not flashing or anything, how do I turn this back on or do I leave it on or off? I heard it was bad to have it off but I have no clue how to turn it back on. Thanks in advance!

 

At the very end of the shift lever should be a button. That is the O/D selector switch. Press it and the light should go off.
