I have a 1997 Ford Ranger King cab 4x4.The odometer and trip meter only work sometimes and thats not very often. Has anyone had this problem and if so what do I need to do to fix it..

 

the plastic gear on the odometer commonly break. when they do, most people upgrade the entire cluster to the explorer sport one, etc.

 

What year will fit the 97 Ranger

 

It is best to checkout all of the threads on the subject BUT I have read that the newer ones will fit up to '03.
There seems to be a small problem with the Temp Gauge but not sure if it includes the '97 or not so read up on it.
