Icon9 Trip meter and odometer just stopped working?

Hey guys, I just noticed yesterday that the trip meter and odometer stop working in my 1995 4 cyl Ranger. I've got just over 266,000 miles on her and everything else on the cluster such as the speedometer is working fine. Any idea what could be causing the problem? I'd hate to have to replace the entire instrument cluster.

sounds like the motor/gear that drives the odometer stopped working

That's what I was thinking. Is it fixable at all without just replacing the entire cluster?

just replace the cluter they are cheap and you can pull the new one apart and set the current mileage
