OEM Manual doors - conversion to OEM Electric options

My 2005 Ranger Edge 2 door regular cab has none of the amenities like power mirrors, windows, or locks, I really want to upgrade this truck for all three...

So the 1st question is, do the front door latches (which are the manual type door locks) have the features allowing attachment of the OEM door lock actuators?

2nd, Do the doors have to be drilled in any way to accept the OEM electric window motors?

3rd, Are the manual crank windows compatible with OEM power window mechanisms?

4th, is it difficult to find the correct used door panels for electric options? (Junkyards)

5th, What other year door panels will fit my 2005?

If anyone has TAN door panels for all power options and you would like to part with them, please contact me!

I'd think it would be easier (possibly cheaper) to just swap doors. Whats compatible. don't know. If you have a pull-n-pay yard close, roll over and have a look-see. Most likely door panels are off and you have quick access. I'll bet a quick call to a salvage yard will tell you year compatability. I haven't seen anything newer than 2003 in my local yard. I have 2006 mirrors on my 2005. Best mod I've done.

Did you use the OEM mirror switch pad?

Sorry I wasn't more clear. My truck already has power windows, door locks and mirrors. So some dremel work and wire splicing was needed. There is a thread on how-to somewhere.

Ok, I finally have everything to convert my Non-Power anything doors to All-power everything doors. I decided to convert with all OEM components: mirrors, Window Motors, Door lock actuators. Actually they are from Dorman, but they are factory replacements.

So today I started the project only to get stopped in my tracks.

PROBLEM: The door lock actuators will not install onto the OEM door latches because the Door Ajar sensor & connector are in the way!

This is the sensor that is mounted to the bottom end of the OEM door latches.
Is there a sensor available that is turned 90 degrees to either side of the normal position (on the OEM latch)?

How's your swap over going. I have a pair of doors I took from a 2003 ranger with full power windows, locks & mirrors. I have the dash, harness and both doors. Also, tan interior panels with switches. Let me know if that will help you. I'm selling my ranger as I didn't have time to do all the fun stuff. Bought a new Taco.
