OHC Light Problems

okay so i got my ohc wired up yesterday and im having some lighting problems. when i open the door only one of the lights in the ohc lights up and its the one on the driver side pointing to the passenger side. now when im inside and doors are closed i push the light button that is on the driver side and no lights turn on. but when i push the button on the passenger side that allows the driver side light to turn on and off. and so the buttons seem backwards and the light on the passenger side never turns on. any suggestions of what i should check out?

Alright I'll go to the store today. And figuring out the problem of the driver side light working when I push the passenger side button... Duh it's because it points to that side

the lightbulbs are in an X

the passenger light is on the left side aimed down to the right.

the driver side is on the right aimed down to the left.

Pull your bulb to see which type you need, there were different ones and the first design is a horrible pita, your likely better off swapping out the light assembly then trying to hunt down a new bulb. I THINK I have a spare of that kind if it is what you need, you can tell, the good ones just twist out with their own little plastic holder, the not so good ones have a metal base that takes a screwdriver to turn it loose and then the bulb falls out.
