Um what cover are you talking about? I've never seen one with a cover on it.

I've riped a number off explorers and none of them have covers over them. They're all right underneath the grille behind the bumper. No covers at all.

And FYI, you only need one OHC. Only one fits, lol...

LOL...Yeah i know it was just too illustrate. One is for me and the other is for amanda. I got both these off expo's and neither had the covers like pic'd above but i have seen them with them so that was why i asked. wasn't sure if there was just different styles of sensors or not.

Wait a minute, do the colors coming off your temp sensors match the colors coming off the OHC for the temp sensors??? When i took off the sensor off a few expos, there were two things, 1. the OHC temp sensors which looks like the one with the 'cover' and 2. a weird looking temp feux temp sensor which is like the ones at teh very top pictures with the nipples sticking out. i don't know if you have a temp sensor or not now...someone will chime in that knows.

Depends what year it came from I believe

Older ones are like the pointed one. Newer ones are flat

Yeah the wires match up blue/yellow, blue/white, i was just wandering because just below the nipple part, its threaded like it had a cover that screws on it or something.
