Overhead console reads "SC"

If I sit at idle for more than a couple of minutes my O/H console goes from reading the temp to reading "SC" for short circuit. Once I drive for a hundred yards or so the temp comes back on. Is this normal? I've checked and have found no shorts or high resistance in any of my wiring.

I wouldn't say that's normal.... never had an issue with mine like that.
