So I bought a set of parking brake cables for my 03 XLT Ex Cab and it appears the driver side rear cable is shorter than the one that was on there; wondering if the last owner installed the wrong cable. Does anyone have pictures of the cable routing for my year, mainly which cable clips into the bracket attached to the leaf spring hanger? The new cable will still work but I'm curious how others have it set up. My Chilton manual did not have any diagrams of the routing. I was noticing that the parking brake couldn't hold the truck on the sloped part of my driveway so hopefully that's all it is.
