Parking brake problem. first off easy. the spring on the release latch broke so that sucks. also parking brack will go INTO the floor fully and barely grab. truck will roll on the slightest incline. and when its release it slowly goes up instead of popping up. help

 

Obviously, fix the spring.

The larger problem is your rear brakes are probably not adjusted, which is very common.

Usually, the star wheel gets corroded up and doesn't turn, so the brakes don't self-adjust.

x2 on the star all you might have to do is just adjust them again. How longs it been since you adjusted them?
