Parking Light and Dash Illumination Problem

A few weeks ago I blew fuse #3 ands #15 when I replaced these it only fixed the problem temporarily. Now my running lights don't work once again I assume its a short... If anybody knows the connector pin or has schematics from fuse to taillights or anyother tips and or suggestions on how to diagnose this It would be a huge help. Thanks in Advance - Cody

Is your ebrake on? Even if it is slightly pushed in it will disable the running lights.

Turns out that the previous owner had an after market alarm that he had taken out,
leaving the splice into the parking lights exposed, thus intermittently grounding to short behind the dash.
An easy fix but a hard find.
Thanks for the feedback tho Anthony

Good to hear! BTW you should update your signature to include your truck year, engine, transmission, 2wd or 4wd to help out with future problems. Otherwise you are going to get these questions over and over again
