PATS Key Help..... and more, Thanks!

Hi All,
A few months ago I purchased a 2011 Ranger XLT.
It came with 1 key and 1 remote.

Need help with:

1) I'd like to change the door locks & Ignition switch to get 2 new keys.
Would like Factory ford stuff........ Is there a on line Ford dealer that is best?
And does a dealer need to reprogram the new keys or are locksmiths able to do that?

2) Can I buy a second remote or can I buy 2 new one's and some how reprogram them in?

Why do you want to physically change the locks? If all you want is an extra key, you'll need an extra PATS key and can program it yourself using Forscan.

Thanks for your reply..... I just bought the truck and I am concerned there is another remote and key out there. Most likely with the previous owner, who knows. I'd have a better peace of mind if I had fresh keys.

Fair enough. Deleting the PATS keys out then reprogramming will prevent someone from actually starting and driving the truck, but you're correct - you'd have to change the locks themselves to prevent access to the interior.
