I have a 1999 Ranger, 4.0, manual transmission, 2wd, in which I replaced the PCM recently. The error codes keep reading that the PATS is unable to communicate or recognize the new PCM. I have gone through numerous parameter resets, but the PATS still does not identify the new PCM. The PCM is in fact coded to the VIN and the keys are original and programmed to the truck. At the moment, I'm stuck and can't figure out why the PATS is not wanting to reset. Any help is appreciated.
