PCV Retention Ring Broken

I just broke the retention ring on a PCV valve when trying to install it on my Mazda B2300 2.3l 4cyl truck.I can not find it anywhere on line so any sugestions will be welcome.

Can you use a hose clamp? A Mazda part number would be handy which you might have to call a dealer to get.
