Replacing Fuel Filter (2002 Mazda B-series)

Good morning,

I replaced my fuel filter on my 2002 Mazda B3000 this morning. When connecting the two rear fuel lines to the filter I heard the "snap" sound that you're supposed to hear. However, when replacing the front fuel line (the single line running from the front of the vehicle) I didn't hear the "snap".

I started the vehicle and there are no leaks, no problems, and the vehicle is running fine. Wondering why I didn't hear the "snap" and if this is indication that there might be a problem. If there is a problem how could it be fixed?

Thanks
