Power Mirror Wiring?

Hey guys,

I just got everything rounded up for my power window conversion... inserts, actuators and wiring. I'm in the planning phase and am modifying the harness that runs between both doors to also include the wiring for my locks (figured I'd condense that stuff, make it more professional and likely more proper).

Now, here's the issue... the driver's side insert has a switch for power mirror adjustment, and down the line I would like to get power mirrors as well. The switch has about 7 wires coming out of it... I've tried figuring the pinout with a multimeter and continuity sensor, but havn't got very far. Considering I don't even have the mirrors yet (or the budget to get them at this point), I was wondering if anyone knew what wires I needed to run to the passenger-side door for mirror control (may as well do it all now while the harness is out of the truck). Anyone able to help me out?

Sure will. Gotta find a host for the pics first (no longer a college student, no more free webserver).

Tested the setup tonight on the living room floor. She works! Had a spot of trouble... looks like the p/s harness isn't making solid contact... gonna have to work on that...

The window kit ran me about $150 on eBay (came with the harness and two regulators). About $75 total for the inserts (probably a bit high but I really wanted a stock look). The stuff for the power locks (RKE receiver/controller and both actuators) ran me probably $50. So I'd say about $275 to do the whole thing (and that's not factoring in the spools of wire I bought to help integrate everything.)

Edit: forgot a parentheses.

A picture of the harness before I operated on it (came with the kit)...

Passenger side insert wired up for a test...

If you look *real* close, you can see the yellow and orange wires I added for lock commands, as well as the green/blue (not terminated yet) for the lock actuators and the three unterminated power mirror wires.

And the driver side...

The windows currently test out OK. Since spring is so far off yet, I'm thinking about putting a twist on this mod... I'll go into that more later if it pans out...
