power window motor replacement

power window motor replacement

finally getting around to getting my power windows/ locks working again.. trying to change the passenger side pw motor but can't get access to 3 hole.. easier way to replace this? gotta love Ford sometimes! lol

thought of just a drilling a hole there but don't want to butcher my truck at all...in excellent condition for its year

It's understandable, but it is the only way. The dealer will do the same. Go slow, drill the center out and take your time. I recommend getting the whole assembly with the regulator from rockauto.com. It should be 60 dollars with the motor. It is a pain assembling the the whole thing once you pull the motor. Plus when you pull the motor it can potentally harm you thanks to the extrey tensioned spring. It would make a good skeet thrower as tight as it.
