pulling OHC out of a explorer

pulling OHC out of a explorer

i have a buddy w/ a 99 explorer sport xlt. and im getting the ohc outta of it. so i was wondering if you guys to tell how to strip it out i cant find the sensor for it any where unless its in the auto dimming mirror. and it has a sunroof. if that helps.

the sensor should be behind the grille infront of the radiator...it has a nipple on it you cant miss it..

Theres just 2 screws in the compartment for the garage opener and then just clips for the front. Just take of the A-pillar and pull the wiring from there. The temp sensor is sorta behind the headlight.

how many total wires should i be pulling, theres like 10 wires w/ it not counting the sunroof wires

Oh its a sunroof model, I think theres 8 wires you need, I would just get them all and as much as you can. I personally would find a non-sunroof model though. Make sure to get the bracket as well.
