Question about Cruise

I was just wondering.... on a 06 Sport, when i switch Cruise Control on.. No light comes on my dash.. Soon as a hit SET, i get the green light.. circle looking like a tach.

So my question.. Should i have some kind of light when i first switch it on?

No. I think it is the same way with my 08' xlt. Just because it is on doesn't mean it is engaged. Just like when you slow down, and then hit resume.

No....

Press the "on", it "get's ready". Press "set", and it "goes".

Get it...ready, set, go.

I guess i can describe it as this way....you can't put your truck into drive, until you press the brake. Kinda like that. I honestly don't know the right way to describe it.

Might want to check out the big ford cruise control recall......your truck might be affected. But, again...honestly dont know. I know mine was.
