Quick 4wd Indicator light ?

Quick 4wd Indicator light ?
Should both the 4High and 4Low dash indicator lights flash when you first start the truck then go out. Mine don't seem to be flashing when i start it up but I can turn the switch and the lights come on and 4wd works.

No lamp test on start up.
EDIT
No lamp test with key on. After start-up the lamps will light for both 4hi and 4lo.
I could not remember so i checked but didn't start he truck.

I thought there wasn't but i remember them always going on when I started the truck. I turned the key a bit more and they came on. I guess with the key only in the on position when I push the button to start it they won't light up. The key needs to be in the start position for them to light.
