You know, it doesnt seem too bad to me considering the work thats been done to it. I paid 14 for mine last year, but it was stock and had more miles on it. Is it a 4.0? Wish I would have waited on looked for a 5 speed manual with mine, but the one I found was a stepside (what i wanted) and the right color. I'd say go for it if I were you.
10 out the door
well a new fx4 is 23.9 and yes its a 4.0 so around 12 would be correct then im going to offer tomorrow and on the roll up windows note id pay more for roll up windows :) i prefer it and i dont care if its 2 door or 4 door because there will be a big speaker box back there for the time i own it.
also what is a value ranger?

I'd offer them 8500$ for it. When they laugh, Start walking. They WILL call you or chase you on their lot.
An 05 loaded 4x4 is going at the Auctions for under 10k and they have less then 30,000 miles and still carry the ford warrenty.

The COnsignment sales in Lanes A thru D are local dealerships liquidating their inventories and writing off their losses. The reports from the last sale on Thursday the 6th show 05-06 Rangers going for 4-7 grand. All FMC Red Carpet lease and C.O.P. turn in trucks.
I don't think that truck came from an auction as it has a lot of aftermarket parts. Not too many people are going to lease a truck and then mod it/add to it knowing they have to give it back. I don't know how long that truck will sit on their lot but if its not auctioned off after 3 months, their eating on a note they shouldnt be and they know ahead of time what they can look forward to getting for it. If you offer 8500 ' out the door ' they WILL consider it.
" I would say they gave no more then 8,000 for it when they took it in on trade ".
I would say they gave no more then 6500 as its ' not factory ' or its ' been altered which makes it worth less '. Rubbish.

That's a nice truck... is R-F missing a truck?!
First off if it's what you want I would definately go for it. I wouldn't pay more than 10K though. Offer around 8 or 9 'cause they seriously can't charge you for the extras... those are freebies when on a used car. Also you could play up the fact it has 2dr not 4. Bottom line though, what are you willing to pay for exactly what you want??

I think its a fairly decent deal. you really don't have to do a thing to it, its all done for you drive off the lot. and the only thing you got to worry about is keeping those wheels polished. Very nice truck
ya i went back i drove it in 4x4 low when coasting at about 5-10mph when i push the clutch in the truck didnt want to just keep rolling and seemed odd while in 4x4 but then again ive never driven one but we drove a new 09 f150 4x4 and it performed better so i don't no if the 4x4 is messed up it also wouldn't switch into 2 wheel from 4 wheel unless you move forward a bit? but ill say this that 4.0 hauled @$$ compared to my 2.5 4
