Rapid clicking sound under dash when ‘02 Ranger off
Hello all.
new member here with an ‘02 Ranger that has a rapid clicking sound that sounds electric under the dash even when truck is off. Turned off truck last night and came back in the morning to this clicking sound under the dash and couldn’t turn it over. When I turned on the headlights the sound stopped. I’ve attached a video with the sound for reference. Any thoughts? Thanks!

To find it, start by pulling all your fuses one by one, (making sure to put them back in as you go) until you find which one makes the noise stop, figure out what all is controlled by that fuse and trace the wires until you find it.
Sounds like it could be a relay/breaker/blinker relay,

Many thanks!
Hi there! Thanks for the feedback. I haven’t pulled any fuses from under the hood. Only the inside panel next to the driver door. Im
assuming I can find a diagram somewhere for where those fuses are located under the hood and can give that a try.
thanks!
