Rebuild a 4x4 gearbox on a 2.5 TD
Hi there
I am looking for a workshop manual for a 2004 Ranger 2.5 Turbo Diesel 4x4 (South African vehicle. It is the gearbox with the sump plate that can be removed) to rebuild the gearbox that has packed-up for the 3rd time in 54 months (Only doing 75 000 km in total). And no, it is not the 5th gear at all. It is primarily the needle bearing that goes over the main shaft into the input shaft that doesn't get enough oil and then it starts packing up.
I do have a solution to this problem, but I do need an manual (electronic format will just be as good) to rebuild the gearbox as I am going do this one myself!
Any help out there?
