Removeing insturment cluster light

I have my instrument cluster out to change a light, how do you get the lights out? I tried turning them, but to no avail. I don't want to break it, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks

They do turn at least on my 99. Think it would be the same.

It's the big black bulb holders, correct? if it's hard to turn, as they can be, just take a pair of needle noses or pliers to it, and twist counter clock wise, or lefty loosy, righty tighty. You won't break them.

Yeah I got them out, it looked like it turned the other way, but didn't.
