Replacement backup bulbs

Replacement backup bulbs

I tryed running the Ford part number from the manual on the PIAA site to see if they had a replacement. I wanna take my rear lights off if I can find I higher output bulb for the stock taillight. Am I SOL or are there options I'm just not finding?

These are just what i found from a quick search, do not know if they are brighter/ better or not

I want a high power (super bright) bulb. Something that would probably need an upgraded harness.

May need a set of auxillary back up lights then, im thinking they may not make that kinda bulb

yeah i see your issue, ive got mine mounted to my hitch under the bumper, and then when i got my exhaust it was made to go under the hitch so had to clear the lights to, so ended up under the lights and the hitch
Looks kinda funny but serves the purpose

i noticed a HUGE difference in mine when i added the '06 tails.....the back up light is clear and it is brighter than the stock fluted lense! but i bet you don't want to spend that much money on new taillights...

I want 99's for the amber turn signal and the bubble out shape but was considering getting a pair of 06+

yeah, they are ALOT brighter then my old ones.
the brake light and the reverse light.

i have PIAA reverse bulbs fore mine. they look cool but dont think you will gain much mire light from them. bulbs like that it is hard to gain light and power like there headlight bulbs. but there worth a try. And they look kool when there off they make the housing Blue.
